Meet Muhammad Razzaq
Our pastry chef, Chef Razzaq is a humble man of many accolades with more than 30 years of experience in baking, food prep, and service techniques. A culinary award winner (Chef’s Association of Pakistan) and a member of NCTP (National Culinary Team of Pakistan), executive member of the World Association of Chefs Societies; his list of accomplishments is unending. “Cooking is art, baking is science”, he believes.
Chef Razzaq completed his bachelor’s in Food Science and Technology from Alama Iqbal Open University and is a renowned pastry chef. He has a diploma from COTHM Institute. He began his career in 1989 as a cook helper in Gino’s restaurant. And the rest is history. He has been featured in many magazines for his extraordinary hardwork, been invited to judge top-notch culinary events and more.
With his in-depth knowledge as an expert pastry and dessert chef and production manager, he has served various renowned hotels globally. He is a man true to his art. He believes that baking is similar to chemistry, where proportion and accuracy matter the most. The right balance of flavours and textures is his forte, along with years of experience.
